In the vibrant world of British radio broadcasting, Global, a leading media and entertainment group, continues to make waves with several of its stations setting new records in audience figures.

Smooth, the third biggest commercial radio brand in the UK, reaches over 7.7 million weekly listeners. This impressive number is a testament to the station's enduring appeal, offering a mix of music from the '80s and current hits. Smooth 80s, a segment of the station, is also enjoying its highest ever audience.

Ashley Tabor-King CBE, Founder & Executive President of Global, expressed his gratitude towards the listeners, acknowledging their loyalty. James Rea, Chief Broadcasting & Content Officer at Global, also took the opportunity to thank the teams at Global for their hard work.

Radio X, another Global brand, has 2.4 million weekly listeners. Its decade stations - Radio X 90s, Radio X 00s, and Radio X Chilled - are also enjoying record figures. This success is a clear indication of the station's ability to cater to a wide range of musical tastes.

Classic FM, known for its classical music, boasts an impressive 4.7 million weekly listeners. Two of its segments, Classic FM Calm and Classic FM Movies, are also celebrating record-breaking figures.

LBC, the UK's only rolling news radio station, has 3.4 million weekly listeners and leads the news agenda. Its flagship programme, LBC's Nick Ferrari at Breakfast, attracts 1.4 million listeners, making it a staple in many morning routines.

LBC News, another offering from LBC, has 1.1 million weekly listeners. The station's commitment to providing up-to-the-minute news and analysis is evident in its growing audience.

The EE Official Big Top 40 from Global is the UK's biggest chart show, with 1.7 million listeners tuning in each week. This popular programme, which counts down the top 40 songs in the UK, is a firm favourite among music lovers.

Lastly, the newly refreshed Gold Radio added 48,000 listeners in the past three months, a significant increase that underscores the success of the station's recent changes.

With these impressive figures, it's clear that Global is setting the pace in British radio broadcasting. Whether it's news, music, or chart shows, Global's stations are delivering content that resonates with millions of listeners across the UK.
