Born and raised in Novosvitlivka, Mykolaiv region, Vitaliy attended the local school. After graduating in 2020 from the Technological and Economic Vocational College of MNAU, the young man's heart was set on serving his country as a soldier. Eager as a colt, he pounced at the opportunity to join the army the moment he turned eligible for compulsory service, subsequently signing a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
When queried about his commitment, he simply said, "I don't want to idle away, I yearn to make a difference, to matter."
Stationed in the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign, Vitaliy distinguished himself in the Joint Forces Operation area. During the full-scale war, he led a self-propelled artillery platoon, participating in combat missions in Mykolaiv region, the counteroffensive in Kherson region, and the defense of Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
Speaking about Vitaliy, his aunt, Marina Hryhorieva, described him as "calm, sociable, kind, devoted with a great sense of justice." His friends and family added further praise, describing him as "a fearless warrior with a heart of gold, the most sincere and kind."
