The Command-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has announced a noticeable boost in the efficacy of Ukrainian drone operations. April saw over 83,000 Russian targets being struck and vanquished, representing an impressive 8% increase compared to the previous month, March.
Syrskyi's Words:"Our drones have managed to inflict considerable damage on the enemy in April, striking and eradicating over 83,000 targets. That's an 8% surge compared to last month! The strike efficiency has skyrocketed by another 5%. I'm immensely proud of our troops for their stellar performance. However, in this high-tech battlefield, we can't rest on our laurels. We need to strive for even greater efficiency and ramped-up efforts in the drone sector," Syrskyi stated.
According to him, he held a meeting focusing on unmanned systems, inviting several UAV unit commanders to discuss the sector's importance. He reiterated that the UAV sector is a top priority, enabling Ukraine to hold the line and neutralize enemies at a safe distance, safeguarding the lives of foot soldiers.
During the gathering, Syrskyi received a briefing from J2, the Joint Staff's intelligence unit, regarding Russian drone forces' development. They covered the creation of unmanned forces in Russia, the advancement of drone units within diverse military branches, and the latest Russian models of UAVs and ground robotic systems.
