Ukraine's Defender's Life Rescued by a Vigilant Monitor: Charity Initiative With Angel Fund's Lifesaving Actions
Hey buddy, let's take a dive into the incredible story of how our website got tangled up in a real-life miracle, all while supporting Ukraine during these tough times. From providing shelter to war refugees, hosting charity auctions, to saving a life – we've been on a mission!
Teaming Up with Angel Fund
It all started when our Lviv office had a bunch of spare equipment after downsizing. With the full-scale invasion in mind, policies were put in place to collect and donate equipment. Anton Sardyga, the IT specialist, knew of Stephania and her charity work, so he reached out.
Angel Fund has been providing support to kids with cancer since 2017 but when the war broke out, they shifted their focus to support Ukrainian defenders. They worked with companies operating in Ukraine, collecting and distributing used equipment to military divisions all over the country.
Anton and Stephania built a strong network of support together, donating all sorts of tech gear, including monitors, network equipment, servers, laptops, printers, and more. Some devices even went to hospitals and an orphanage.
A Lifesaving Monitor
The equipment donated by our website served the 106 Brigade of the Slaviansk TRO for barely two weeks until an attack happened. The monitor took a bullet for Sergeant Duke during the attack, protecting him from shrapnel. Ruslan, the chaplain, heard the story shortly after, and the lifesaving monitor is now kept in a warehouse, most likely to be sold for charity.
Sergeant Duke, a patriot fighting for his homeland since 2014, even married a priest's daughter after the incident. These miracles might seem unbelievable, but they happen more often than you'd think.

Enrichment Data:
While the specific story of the donated monitor saving a Ukrainian defender might not be documented, the hypothetical narrative highlights the potential benefits of technological donations in conflict zones. Donations can provide operational support, such as enhancing situational awareness, and serve as morale boosters during long-conflict periods. They can also contribute to long-term infrastructure, foster community engagement, and symbolize global solidarity. Real-world examples of support for Ukrainian defenders include diverse forms of aid, such as medical care and cultural preservation efforts, in the context of the ongoing conflict.
In the midst of our website's ongoing support for Ukraine, we discovered a valuable connection with Angel Fund, a charity organization that initially focused on kids with cancer but shifted to supporting Ukrainian defenders during the war. Together, we donated various technological equipment, some of which were used in military divisions and even hospitals and an orphanage. Moreover, politics and general news often highlight the importance of external support for war-torn countries, as technological donations can offer operational benefits, boost morale, and symbolize global solidarity, and this hypothetical narrative showcases this potential impact.
