UFC Fighter Files Lawsuit Against Brock Lesnar, Alleging Unwarranted Harassment and Physical Abuse.

Mark Hunt Pursues Ongoing Legal Battle with UFC, Brock Lesnar, and Dana White

Mark Hunt, the former UFC heavyweight, has declared that his legal battle against Brock Lesnar, Dana White, and the UFC is still in progress. In a passionate interview with talkSPORT.com, Hunt revealed he is determined to continue the legal proceedings.

Hunt originally sued Lesnar, White, and the UFC following his 2016 defeat by Lesnar at UFC 200. The New Zealander accused the three parties of racketeering and fraud, claiming the UFC was aware of Lesnar's doping but allowed the fight to take place for financial gain.

Initially, the lawsuit was dismissed; however, it was revived in 2021 when an appeals court reversed its decision on the dismissal of battery, fraud, and conspiracy claims. Last month, those involved were cleared of the charges; however, Hunt maintains that the case is far from over.

In the interview, Hunt stated, "I haven't lost the case... of course, it's still going." He explained that the statute needs to change to better address such cases, expressing his conviction that what has transpired requires a change in laws.

At UFC 200, Lesnar's strength proved overwhelming for Hunt, who admitted, "Brock Lesnar was a different level of strength... he threw me around like a little kid." Despite the challenging fight, Lesnar was fined £188,000 ($250,000) and suspended from the UFC for 12 months following the doping scandal.

Hunt confirmed he would represent himself in the legal battle, stating, "I have to learn about law... I have to learn about process." He emphasized that his pursuit of justice extends beyond himself, affecting his family and entire circle.

The complex nature of the case and Hunt's determination to see it through suggest that the legal battle between Mark Hunt and the UFC, Brock Lesnar, and Dana White is far from over. Hunt's conversation with Lesnar, in which Lesnar claimed he was not doping, raises further questions regarding Lesnar's involvement in the doping controversy.

As Hunt's legal pursuit continues, his future in MMA remains uncertain. He has expressed little interest in return to the sport and has even discussed potential opportunities with Conor McGregor's bare-knuckle promotion BKFC. Regardless of the outcome of his legal battle, Hunt's impact on the MMA world remains significant.

Mark Hunt maintains his legal battle against Brock Lesnar, Dana White, and the UFC is not yet over, indicating a continuing pursuit in the courts. Interestingly, Hunt has expressed interest in exploring opportunities outside MMA, such as Conor McGregor's bare-knuckle promotion BKFC, suggesting potential changes in his career path. The complexities of this legal case also raise questions about the doping controversy in other sports, such as football and premier league, or even boxing and F1, calling for enhanced measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
