UFC fighter exhibits shocking profanity during live interview following electrifying knockout win

In the main event of UFC Fight Night in San Antonio, UFC fighter Diego Lopes secured a memorable victory against Jean Silva, claiming a $100,000 prize by knocking out Silva with a stunning spinning back elbow. The win marked Silva's first loss inside the Octagon and was arguably Lopes' biggest career victory.

Following the fight, Lopes was examined by Dr. Leonard Fong, who confirmed that the Brazilian fighter had no traumatic brain injury and was cleared of a concussion. However, moments after his triumph, an unexpected incident occurred. Lopes, who appeared to show little physical damage, was seen chugging Gatorade to recover.

Shortly after, during a backstage interview, Lopes experienced an 'adrenaline dump' and vomited profusely, leaving a bright orange-coloured liquid on the floor. The disturbing incident was captured on video. Lopes later apologised to those around him, claiming it was an unforeseen reaction.

Despite this unusual occurrence, Lopes' victory was a significant bounce back for the fighter, who had previously suffered a loss to Alexander Volkanovski by unanimous decision at UFC 314 in Miami in April. This was the second fight of 2025 for Lopes, and he will undoubtedly be looking to build on this win in his future bouts.
