UFC Battle Forecast: Dariush vs Tsarukyan Prognostications

In the main event of UFC Austin, it's a showdown between the fourth-ranked Beneil Dariush and eighth-ranked Arman Tsarukyan at lightweight. Both men are coming off losses, but Dariush was stopped by Charles Oliveira in short order, while Tsarukyan has won two in a row.

Dariush, known for his calculated fighting style and heart of a lion, has a diverse game with five knockouts and eight submissions. Tsarukyan, on the other hand, is a composed and well-rounded fighter with eight knockouts and five submissions. While Dariush has good grappling and takedown defense, his striking department was lacking against Oliveira. Tsarukyan, the crisper and more powerful striker, may go to his striking more in this fight as Dariush has been known to be hittable throughout his career.

With superior speed, output, and stamina, Tsarukyan should outwork Dariush if the fight goes long. While Dariush will always come into the octagon in peak condition, Tsarukyan will be the younger man by seven years and should be able to handle the later rounds. Prediction: Tsarukyan by decision.

In the co-headliner, Bobby Green takes on Jalin Turner at lightweight. Green was originally set to face Dan Hooker, but the New Zealander was forced out due to injury. Turner gets the call on short notice, making it a three-round fight. Turner is massive for the weight class, standing six-feet-three and boasting a seventy-seven-inch reach.

Despite being near the end of his career, Green still has fight and surprises left in him. After choking out former interim champion Tony Ferguson, he cashed as the underdog with a big 33-second knockout win over Grant Dawson last time out. Turner has only lost to the cream of the crop and looks to be a level above Green in the skills department. Green's lack of polish and athleticism compared to Turner make it unlikely that he can upset the applecart. Prediction: Turner by decision.

In other fights on the card, former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo makes his bantamweight debut against Rob Font. Figueiredo has freakish knockout power but might struggle against Font's crisp boxing. Font is a staple in the division's top 10, and his crisp boxing and durability should help him claim victory.

Sean Brady and Kelvin Gastelum battle it out in a clash between two of the best at 170 pounds. Both men are making a comeback of sorts, as Brady returns after suffering his first career defeat last year, while Gastelum returns to the welterweight division for the first time since 2016. Gastelum has had struggles with weight cuts in the past, but if he can make weight, he should be able to outwrestle Brady and claim victory.

The legendary Clay Guida collides with Joaquim Silva at lightweight. Despite being 41, Guida is still a ball of energy, but he's a few paces slower than his prime. Silva is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt but might struggle against Guida's speed and conditioning. Prediction: Guida by decision.

Punahele Soriano squares off with Dustin Stoltzfus at middleweight. Soriano is a strong wrestler with power in his hands, while Stoltzfus is a more layered martial artist with good grappling skills. However, Soriano's power and wrestling should be enough to get back in the win column in a big way. Prediction: Soriano by knockout.

After the main event's conclusion, fans might engage in sports betting, considering the predicted victories based on the analysis. For instance, Tsarukyan by decision, Turner by decision, Figueiredo potentially facing challenges against Font but possibly claiming victory, Gastelum potentially outwrestling Brady, Guida's energy potentially resulting in a decision, and Soriano predicted to secure a knockout over Stoltzfus. These results, based on the given analysis, could be compelling reasons for rugby, soccer, or basketball fans to temporarily explore the exciting world of UFC betting while waiting for their regular sports seasons to resume.
