Bayern versus Sevilla face-off marks the UEFA's first match with fans post-pandemic at Budapest's Puskás Aréna. According to Almaty.tv, citing Tass, this highly anticipated clash is set to take place on September 24, with kick-off at 01:00 local time in Nur-Sultan.

Eager football fans can finally attend a Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) game since the onset of the pandemic. This groundbreaking event will serve as a benchmark, testing safety protocols for future fan-attended matches.

The stadium accommodates a capacious crowd of over 67,000, however, only 30% of the seats will be filled to maintain social distancing. Spectators must wear masks and keep a 1.5-meter distance from one another. Seats will only be allocated to fans who purchased tickets together.

UEFA has set aside 3,000 tickets for each team's supporters, although neither club has purchased the full allocation. Initially, around 2,100 Bayern fans had booked tickets, but 800 decided to cancel their trip on Tuesday. UEFA predicts around 500 Sevilla fans and 1,300 Bayern supporters will show up.

The remaining seats will be given to neutral fans, who can purchase tickets ranging between €30 and €120. As part of the "Thank You" campaign, 500 Hungarian medical workers are also invited to the match as a token of appreciation for their essential service during the pandemic.

Upon arrival in Hungary, ticket holders may be subjected to a medical check and required to present a negative COVID-19 test result, taken within the past three days. Spanish and German fans will be expected to leave the country within 72 hours of arrival.

This match at the Puskás Aréna is more than just a football game; it's a pilot event for controlled fan attendance, paving the way for a return of spectators to UEFA matches after a lengthy absence due to the pandemic.
