UAE officials extend congratulatory messages to the President and Prime Minister of Nepal on Constitution Day.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has shown its support for Nepal by sending congratulatory messages to President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister Sushila Karki on the occasion of Nepal's Constitution Day.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, was among the first to extend his well-wishes. In a similar vein, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also sent messages of congratulations. President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE also joined in, expressing his delight at the momentous occasion.
Nepal, which recently saw calm return following the swearing-in of its first woman Prime Minister, Sushila Karki, was the recipient of these heartfelt messages. Karki, who became the first woman to hold the position in Nepal, expressed her gratitude for the UAE's support.
