UAE officials extend congratulations to Nepal's President and Prime Minister on Constitution Day observance.
Nepal's Constitution Day was marked with a show of solidarity from the leaders of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister Sushila Karki received congratulatory messages from various UAE dignitaries, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President and Deputy Prime Minister of UAE, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
The messages were sent to express congratulations on Nepal's Constitution Day, which marks the adoption of the country's new constitution in 2015. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, also sent a similar message to President Paudel.
Meanwhile, in other news, Nepal returned to calm as the first woman PM took charge. Sushila Karki became the first woman prime minister of Nepal, serving as the interim Prime Minister and being the head of government following the resignation of the previous Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli in September 2025.
