Ultra-renowned guitarist and U2 member, The Edge, has added a remarkable piece to his art collection. The artwork in question is a painting created by artist Stephen Whalley during a live performance at the Titanic Museum in Belfast.

The event, part of a charity auction last Saturday, witnessed The Edge expressing a preference for Whalley's interpretation of the museum over the physical structure itself. This unexpected recognition left Whalley, who described the moment as "a bit of a pinnacle" in his career, pleasantly surprised.

Whalley, who produced the painting during the live event at the museum, found the encounter "a bit of a shocker." He shared with BBC News NI that he was ecstatic about the purchase, still struggling to believe the esteemed musician had chosen his work. The artist expressed his gratitude for the gesture, which he described as one of the most memorable moments of his career.
