U.S. U20 Men's Team Storms into Quarterfinals After 3-0 Win Over Italy

The U.S. U20 men's national team has stormed into the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile, following a resounding 3-0 victory over Italy. This marks the U.S.'s fifth consecutive appearance in the tournament's last eight stage.

Benjamin Cremaschi, the captain of the U.S. team, played a pivotal role in the win. He scored a brace, including the opening goal in the 15th minute, and set a new record for goals at a single U20 World Cup with his second goal in the 93rd minute. This impressive feat has drawn praise for the Inter Miami CF striker's strong performances throughout the tournament.

Niko Tsakiris also contributed to the victory with a brilliant free kick goal in the 79th minute. This goal was one of 11 scored by different U.S. players in the tournament, demonstrating the team's depth and versatility.

The U.S. will now face the winner of the Morocco vs. South Korea match in the quarterfinal on Sunday, aiming to continue their impressive run in the tournament.
