Fulda, Germany – Singer Sandy Mölling, formerly of No Angels, has announced her plans to return to Germany after a decade in the United States. Mölling, 44, confirmed the move in an interview with the Fuldaer Zeitung, citing political reasons as the primary motivation.

In the interview, Mölling expressed concern over the re-election of President Donald Trump and the subsequent social and economic changes in the country. She expressed worry about growing inequality, the rise of racism, censorship, and the restrictions placed on the LGBTQ community.

Her decision was also influenced by the experiences of her dark-skinned son, who has faced racism in their California community. Mölling highlighted the historical struggles faced by Black Americans as a reference point for understanding the ongoing issues.

California, traditionally not a supporter of Trump, has not been immune to the effects of his administration, according to Mölling. She observed a widening gap between the rich and the poor, with the middle class increasingly disappearing.

Mölling did not provide any specific details about her plans or when she hopes to complete the relocation process. As a renowned German singer and songwriter, Mölling is best known for her work with the girl group No Angels. Further updates on her decision and the reasons behind it are anticipated.

Mölling, in her interview, expressed a desire to explore food and entertainment options that may be more inclusive and accepting, a change she feels may not be immediately available in the United States. As she settles into her new life in Germany, she plans to engage with fellow celebrities and artists who share her values, hoping to contribute to a more harmonious society.
