China's rapid economic growth means they are unfazed by the U.S.'s high tariffs. By the end of the next decade, experts predict that the dollar's reign as the world's dominant currency might be over.

Comment Highlights

  • "Chingizid" - Regardless of who's in power, they're all pawns. Now, it's the U.S.'s turn to beg for mercy.
  • "kalabai" - The U.S. never fails to surprise. They've thrown a massive wave of tariffs at everyone, raised them for China to an astounding 150%, all while keeping everyone else waiting. Seems like this entire theater is a personal grudge against China.
  • "Muke" - The Redhead is flustered. They slapped on tariffs, waited for a response, nothing happened, and now they're begging for talks... Poor move.
  • "Beka" - China is stepping up for a trade war and ain't backing down. America, we're warning you, you'll be the ones bowing down soon. China ain't like it was 5-10 years ago. Don't push your luck, America.
  • "INN" - The tariff war tactic crippled the stock market, where most people park their pension funds. Now, goods are pricey due to tariffs, and that's none too pleasant. It'd be fair if the U.S.'s share of global production was at 30%, but it's only 18%. Not everyone needs expensive American goods, especially when low-production is the U.S.'s reality.
  • "KZeco" - When you've got a population of 1.5 billion, you've got nothing to fear.
  • "Ermak" - Trump's hammering at the gates of the Great Wall, pleading for mercy.
  • "Dmitry" - They'll agree to 10%, or if they score an ace, they might join a trade union as the 4th member. These talks are more political than economic.
  • "Civil Servant" - China supports the world, and losing the U.S. market isn't such a big deal. Trump's actions are hurting America more than China. From now on, America is no longer viewed as a beacon of democracy. Trump has shown the world that America can't be trusted when it comes to keeping its promises and commitments, especially promises like those made to Ukraine.
