In a recent analysis by Puma Europe's independent data collection partner, the best U.S. cities for runners in 2022 have been unveiled. Portland, Oregon, known for its vibrant running community, tops the list, followed by Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Portland's success is attributed to its active community, abundance of running trails, and excellent water quality. The city boasts an impressive 587,849 running clubs, making it a hub for runners. Elite running teams also find Portland an attractive destination.

Joining a running club is not just about finding a running buddy for accountability and motivation. It's also about being part of a community that shares the same passion. Portland's running scene is bustling with races and events, bringing runners together.

But Portland is not alone. Cities such as Denver, Colorado, Columbus, Ohio, Kansas City, Kansas, Baltimore, Maryland, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Omaha, Nebraska, also made the top ten.

Jacksonville, Florida, with 394,205 running clubs, is another city with a thriving running culture.
