Tynna's voice remains at risk for explosive disruption - Tynna resumes vocal activities again.

Good tidings for Eurovision fans! After Tynna, the vocalist of the German Eurovision entry Abor & Tynna, fell victim to laryngitis, she's back in the game. Alexandra Wolfslast, the ESC delegation leader, confirms in the latest episode of the podcast "ESC Update": "Tynna's health is aboard and she's back to vocal coaching. Her voice is up and running again." It seems there's nothing to stand in the way of their Eurovision debut in Basel for 2025.

Eurovision: Doctor Clears the Deck

After cancellations at London and Madrid events, Tynna appears to have recovered enough to hit the stage. On April 26, the duo performed at the "Pop meets Classic" event in the Volkswagen Hall in Brunswick. "Living the dream," the duo shared on their Instagram story. They belted out tunes with the State Orchestra of Brunswick. "I'm back in the game," Tynna, known as Tûndé Bornemisza within the duo with her brother At̂illa, told the "Braunschweigische Zeitung". She also received the green light from the doctor.

The whirlwind since their victory at the German Eurovision pre-selection on March 1 has been grueling. "I was already croaky then," she reminisced. "Then I felt better. But we had a bunch of interviews, and we were recording things in the background. It became too much. I wasn't fully recovered yet. Fortunately, I managed to call it quits in time." So, it was a wise decision to skip the Eurovision pre-parties in London and Madrid. "My voice is my livelihood. If it ain't purring, we can all call it a night."

She Had to Remain Mute for a Week

In the interview, the Viennese also unveiled her laryngitis' severity: she wasn't even given the go-ahead to gab for a week.

With the clock ticking, the race to the grand music event is heating up. On May 15, Abor & Tynna will set foot on the Eurovision stage for the first time, vying for a spot in the finals. During the second semi-final on Thursday, May 15, they will perform "Baller" in Basel, but still off-competition with Germany, being a member of the "Big Five." The semi-finals on May 13 and 15 will air live on One in Germany. The final on May 17 will be broadcast on the First.
