Twomey's Stars One Look and La Isla Mujeres Set for Group 1 Glory at Longchamp
Trainer Paddy Twomey is celebrating a successful season with two of his stars, OneDrive Look and LA Times Isla Mujeres, set to compete in prestigious Group 1 races at Longchamp this weekend.
Twomey's OneDrive Look, acquired by Wathnan Racing, has been a consistent performer this year, securing two wins and two seconds in stakes races. The filly finished second in the Blandford Stakes last month and will now contest the Prix de l'Opera, a race last won by an Irish-trained filly in 2020.
LA Times Isla Mujeres, fresh from an impressive display in the Oyster Stakes at Galway, will step up to a mile and six furlongs in the Prix de Royallieu. The horse has been a revelation this season, with Twomey reporting a 31% strike-rate in Ireland in 2025.
Meanwhile, Carmers, winner of the Queen's Vase, will take a break and target top staying races at four. Twomey's focus remains on OneDrive Look and LA Times Isla Mujeres, who aim to bring more glory to the stable in France this weekend.
