Two-year win drought ends for In The Breeze under Mick Appleby's guidance in a triumphant feature race.

In an exciting day of racing, two horses - In The Breeze and Salaria - stole the show with impressive victories in their respective races.

The 1m4f handicap race was a new course for In The Breeze, but the seven-year-old horse, trained by Charlie Clover, proved to be up to the challenge. Starting off at 20-1 odds, In The Breeze trailed in last place in the Old Borough Cup on its most recent start. However, under the skilled guidance of jockey Ray Dawson, the horse made a remarkable comeback, managing to show a good turn of foot that was not usually seen. In The Breeze powered past its four rivals to win the race, with the favourite, Silver Chamber, finishing two lengths behind.

Meanwhile, in the first division of the 1m2f handicap, Salaria, also trained by Charlie Clover, put on a dominating performance, winning by two lengths. This victory marked Salaria's return to the winner's circle after a two-year absence.

On the other hand, National Park, trained by William Haggas, also made its mark in the mile maiden. After four attempts, National Park was off the mark with an impressive six-and-a-half-length success. Cieren Fallon, who won a double on the day, was in the saddle for this impressive victory.

The feature handicap for trainer Mick Appleby was a closely contested race, but it was In The Breeze and Salaria who shone brightest, adding another exciting chapter to the world of horse racing.
