Two-Year-Old Snooker Prodigy Jude Owens Breaks Records Before Turning Three
Jude Owens has made snooker history before turning three. The toddler became the youngest player to secure a snooker sponsorship and achieve advanced auto shots. His talent has already drawn attention from professionals and organisers alike.
Jude's father, Luke Owens, first spotted his son's natural ability at just two and a half years old. By the age of 2 years and 261 days, Jude had set a record by making a snooker double pot—potting two balls into separate pockets with a single strike. He also became the youngest to execute a pool bank shot at 2 years and 302 days.
Despite his age, Jude plays on full-size adult tables, using a stool to reach them. He has already mastered complex techniques, including floating bridge shots and using the rest to make pots. His skills impressed professional players like Jimmy White, John Parrot, and Kyren Wilson, who have met him personally.
In recognition of his achievements, Jude received a sponsorship deal before his third birthday. He also made a special walk-out appearance at the 2025 UK Snooker Championship, further cementing his place in the sport.
Away from snooker, Jude supports Manchester United and can sing Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver.
Jude's early success has set new benchmarks in snooker. His ability to perform advanced auto shots and secure professional recognition at such a young age marks him as a standout talent. The sport's community continues to watch his progress with interest.
