Galloping over the A4 - Police stop escaped horses - Two Runaway Horses Lead Wild Chase Across German Motorway
Two horses caused chaos in eastern Germany after bolting from their enclosure in Ronneburg, Thuringia. They galloped across roads and even a motorway before police finally caught them near the Saxony border. The unusual chase lasted over two hours and involved multiple patrol cars.
The incident began when the horses broke free from their stable in Ronneburg. Their escape led them onto the A4 motorway, forcing police to intervene. Officers tracked the animals for roughly two and a half hours, using several vehicles to guide them safely.
Both horses are now back with their owner, unharmed. The operation, though unusual, concluded without serious damage or injuries. Police have not provided further details on the cause of the escape or the owner’s identity.
