Two unidentified men were rescued from a sinking motorboat in the North Sea, between the East Frisian Islands of Wangerooge and Spiekeroog. The challenging area, known for its dangerous sandbanks and far-reaching dam, posed a significant threat to the men's safety.

The men, stranded on a sandbank, were in immediate danger as their seven-meter motorboat began to sink. Despite the challenging conditions, a naval helicopter arrived and successfully rescued the men using a rescue basket. Both men were conscious and able to move on their own after the rescue. The water police are currently investigating the cause of the distress at sea. Unfortunately, the men's motorboat had to be left behind by the emergency services.

The two men were rescued safely from the North Sea, thanks to the swift response of the naval helicopter. The water police continue to investigate the incident, while the men's identities remain undisclosed.
