In a significant development, Austin Drummond, a 28-year-old man who was the prime suspect in a horrific quadruple murder case in Tennessee, has been captured after a weeklong manhunt. The victims, Cortney Rose (38), her children Adrianna Williams (20) and Braydon Williams (15), and Adrianna's boyfriend James "Michael" Wilson (21), were found dead in Lake County, Tennessee on July 29, 2025.

Drummond, who was out on bond at the time of the murders, is accused of committing the heinous crime and is considered armed and dangerous. He was apprehended in Jackson, Tennessee by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).

Drummond faces multiple charges, including four counts of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated kidnapping, four counts of felon in possession of a firearm, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

Authorities had offered up to $30,000 for information leading to his arrest, and the TBI's reward for such information is $7,500. Additionally, the U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $10,000 reward for the same.

Two individuals, Tanaka Brown and Giovonte Thomas, have also been arrested in connection with the case. They are not related to the victims or Austin Drummond. Tanaka Brown is being held in the Lake County Jail without bond, charged with one count of tampering with evidence, and four counts of accessory after the fact of first-degree murder.

Giovonte Thomas is being transferred from the Madison County Jail to the Lake County Jail to be arraigned on new charges. Both Brown and Thomas are accused of helping Drummond after the murders.

It is worth noting that Drummond served a full sentence at the Tennessee Department of Corrections for an aggravated robbery charge before the recent events.

The baby of Adrianna Williams and James Wilson was found abandoned but alive in a nearby county, adding a tragic twist to the already grim story.

The TBI made the announcement of the arrests on Saturday evening. The investigation is still ongoing, and further updates are expected in due course.
