Two instances at hand
In the heart of 2023, a gripping crime series titled "D" is set to air on CH. Directed by Florian Gottschick, this 60-minute production promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The series, rated FSK 12, is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
The series revolves around the mysterious death of Dennis Urban, a case that leads to a second investigation with a shared connection: both victims' apartments had a Gingoo Smart Speaker. The investigation into Urban's death takes an unexpected turn when it's discovered that Fabian Eisermann, a close associate, was found at his side after his demise.
As the plot thickens, Dennis Urban's lawyer, Benni Hornberg, is working tirelessly to prove his client's innocence. Meanwhile, Detective Leo Oswald, who goes undercover as an employee at Gingoo, uncovers some unconventional handling of user data by the company's manager, Actun Sahin.
Hornberg also interviews Ceyda Urban, the widow of the victim, in a bid to uncover more clues. However, Ceyda's unphased demeanor raises more questions than answers. As the series progresses, it becomes evident that nothing is as it initially seemed in the investigation.
The cast of "D" is star-studded, featuring Wanja Mues as Leo Oswald, Antoine Monot, Jr. as Benni Hornberg, Bettina Zimmermann as Claudia Strauss, Dagmar Operskalski as Helen Sibirski, Ellenie Salvo González as Ceyda Urban, Gregory Richters as Finn Urban, Marvin Rehbock as Dennis Urban, Adrian Sadi as Actun Sahin, Livia Matthes as Hanna Rohrbach, and Konstantin Lindhorst as Fabian Eisermann.
With its intriguing plot, talented cast, and suspenseful atmosphere, "D" is a must-watch for crime drama enthusiasts. Tune in to CH in 2023 to unravel the mystery alongside Detective Leo Oswald and Benni Hornberg.
