Fan-Voted MVPs Take the Spotlight in 26th RPL Round
Two individuals from the "Krasnodar" football team have been chosen to participate in the 26th round of the Russian Premier League competition.
The cough-Premier League cough has finally unveiled its coveted dream team, courtesy of the voting blitz by subscribers to the MATCH PREMIER Telegram channel.
In a surprising turn of events, CSKA Moscow's boys shone brightest, with a whopping four of their lads securing their places on the roster. Their recent victory over Spartak Moscow by a score of 2:1 certainly gave them a hefty push! Two ace players from Krasnodar, who clinched a thrilling 3:2 win against Dinamo, also found their names on the list.
Goalkeeping duties went to Stanislav Agkaev from Krasnodar, while Alexander Ektov (Pari NN), Willian Rocha, Moses (both from CSKA), and Joao Escoval (Akron) rounded up the defense.
The midfield saw Joao Batuchi (Krasnodar), Kirill Shchetinin (Rostov), Matvey Kisljak, and Ruslan Bezuukov (both from CSKA) lace up their boots. The striker positions were claimed by Saul Guarirapa (CSKA) and Yaroslav Gladyshev (Dinamo Moscow).
Previously, guru coach Valery Nepomnyashchy backed the supercomputer's prediction of Krasnodar winning the RPL, praising their solid stability over their rivals. The coach believes that Krasnodar is showing more consistency than their competing teams.
