Two early-morning crashes on Germany’s B194 leave drivers injured

Two separate accidents occurred on the B194 near Grimmen in the early hours of Tuesday, 18 November 2025. Both incidents happened just before 6:00 a.m., causing disruption and leaving two drivers injured. Authorities are now examining the circumstances behind the crashes.

The first accident involved a 52-year-old German woman driving a Ford. Her vehicle left the road and landed in a ditch. Minutes later, a second crash occurred at the same spot, this time involving a Mitsubishi driven by a 49-year-old German man.

The B194 was temporarily closed to allow for investigations and vehicle recovery. Police have not yet confirmed the exact cause of either accident. However, slippery road conditions due to weather may have played a role.

Both drivers sustained injuries, though the extent remains unclear. The road has since reopened, but investigations into the crashes are ongoing. Authorities continue to assess whether weather conditions contributed to the incidents.
