Two districts in the Omsk region face the potential danger of an emergency situation.
In the Omsk region of Russia, six municipalities have been placed under heightened readiness in response to the impending cold weather and potential emergency situations during the heating season.
The heightened readiness was initially implemented in four districts - Znamensky, Moskalensky, Novovarashavsky, and Poltavsky - yesterday. The decision was made due to the risk of an emergency situation with the onset of cold weather.
The Azovsky district has also been added to the list, facing a potential emergency situation related to dangerous natural phenomena. In the Chernolessky district, heightened readiness was based on insufficient fuel reserves reported by MUP "Teplovodonasbavlenie".
The Omsk region's heat supply organizations are struggling to prepare for the heating season due to financial constraints. The lack of funds for fuel for boilers may hinder timely preparation, and the organizations may face issues during the heating season due to insufficient fuel reserves.
To address these concerns, a special commission for the prevention and liquidation of emergencies is discussing strategies to ensure a smooth heating season in the Omsk region. The commission is also considering the allocation of funds from the regional reserve fund for the purchase of necessary fuel to prevent potential heating season issues.
The potential emergency situation in the Omsk region is not only a threat to the heating season but also to housing and communal services and life support facilities. The Azovsky district, for instance, faces a potential emergency situation due to dangerous natural phenomena, which could further complicate the region's readiness for the cold weather.
The situation is under close observation, and updates are expected from the special commission for the prevention and liquidation of emergencies as they discuss the heating season situation in the Omsk region.
