Duisburgerinnen Prepare for the 2025/26 Season with Key Signings
The MSV Duisburg women's team, freshly promoted to the 3. Liga, has been bolstering its roster with some notable additions. Among them is Conor Noß, a former Ireland U21 international who played the past two seasons in the Austrian Bundesliga after leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2023.
Noß is expected to make a significant impact in the upcoming season, with the team's coach, Susi Wollschlaeger, fully supporting the decision to bring him on board. Another key addition is Taja Gans, recognised for her calmness and overview, who is leaving to play for a club on the Alster, presumably Harvestehuder THC.
Joining from MSC Sumchanka, Laura Plueth, a key performer in the team's promotion race, is also leaving to join the German champions Harvestehuder THC. Plueth was the third-best scorer in the 2. Liga with ten goals.
The Duisburgerinnen have also secured the services of Paula Valdivia, a Chilean national player, who is joining the team at the age of 28. Valdivia, currently playing with her team at the Pan American Cup, is expected to arrive in Duisburg in mid-August. She hails from Club Deportivo Manquehue and most recently played for the Zehlendorfer Wespen.
Marharyta Mykhailiuk, a Ukrainian national player, is another new recruit for the Duisburgerinnen. Mykhailiuk, an 18-year-old player from Sumy, near the Russian border, is set to join the team after completing her studies at Syracuse University in the USA at the end of the year.
Helena Hindenburg is another new face in the Duisburgerinnen lineup, joining from RTHC Bayer Leverkusen.
The Duisburgerinnen will commence their season on September 6 with an away game against Münchner SC. Prior to the start of the season, they will play test matches against Großflottbeker THGC and TSV Mannheim this weekend.

Additionally, Paula Valdivia, a Chilean national player, is set to bring her hockey expertise to the Duisburgerinnen squad, joining from Club Deportivo Manquehue at the age of 28.
