Sleek and speedy new Aquila Coupés, the 42C and 46C Powercats, are gearing up for their 2025 Miami Boat Show debut!
Enter the exhilarating world of Aquila's latest sporty additions. Come February, you'll find the 42C and 46C Powercats making their grand entrance at the Miami Boat Show! These babies are the first in a line of Coupé powercats, featuring twin-step hulls and foil-assistance for thrilling, economical cruising. The hydro-glide system (AHG), consists of two carbon-fibre foils - one amidships, the other aft - generating enough lift to lessen the wetted surface for better fuel efficiency, while never actually lifting the boat above the water.
The 42C shines with twin Mercury outboards, reaching a blazing top speed of 40 knots.
The 42C is an exciting offering, available with either twin 400hp Mercury Verado V10s or 380hp Volvo Penta D6 sterndrives. Step it up with the 46C, boasting the option of twin 600hp Mercury Verado V12s or twin 440hp Volvo sterndrives. Both models are Cat B certified, offering shallow drafts and approximated top speeds just under 40 knots. Their unrefuelled range will vary depending on engine choice, but expect a distance between 330-380 nautical miles.

The design of these powercats mirrors their performance. Their 37% beam to length ratio makes the most of their width, boasting full-beam deckhouses with spacious galley and dining areas. Moving around the boat is a breeze, as the bridge consoles shift to starboard, allowing a walkway and electric door to the foredeck lounge.
Down below, both models have accommodations for up to four guests, featuring two ensuite double cabins. The 42C features two aft-facing queen-sized beds, one in each hull, while the 46C offers a transverse queen in the starboard sponson and an aft-facing bed to port. These powercats will be available for purchase through UK dealer Approved Boats.
