Title: WWII Bombs Discovered in Kiel: Mass Evacuation on Sunday

Got some unexpected news for you, folks! Around 1,350 residents in Kiel are about to be displaced from their homes and apartments on Sunday. What's the reason behind this mass relocation, you ask? Two undetonated World War II bombs have been unearthed! Yes, you heard that right - we're still digging up remnants of the Second World War.

The war relics were discovered during recent exploratory work in the districts of Meimersdorf and Ellerbek-Wellingdorf. The police made this announcement at the crack of dawn.

In Meimersdorf, approximately three dozens of residents have to vacate their homes as early as morning, with road closures coming into effect afterwards. From 8:00 AM to the end of the defusal, the railway line connecting Kiel and Hamburg will be shut in this area. No worries, though, as replacement buses will keep you moving. Passengers traveling to or from one of the cruise ships in the Kiel harbor on Sunday should contact their travel providers for updates on their itinerary.

For the displaced residents in Meimersdorf, the fire station will offer temporary shelter at the village square starting at 7:00 AM. The American 250-kilogram bomb unearthed here has two fuses and is located on an agricultural field. Experts predict a smooth process, considering the bomb's favorable condition.

Later in the afternoon, the specialists will move on to defusing the second bomb in Ellerbek-Wellingdorf. The British 250-kilogram bomb was found on a property near the southern end of the Stadtrat-Hahn Park. This is another uneventful day in the life of a bomb disposal expert, we suppose!

In Ellerbek-Wellingdorf, around 1,300 residents will need to leave their homes and the allotments within the cordoned-off area by 12:00 PM. The Stadtrat-Hahn Park will be off-limits during the defusal. The surrounding roads, except for the B502 highway, will be barricaded. Don't panic, though; if you can't find alternative lodging, head to the Ellerbek School (Klausdorfer Weg 62-64) starting at 11:00 AM.

Stuck in your apartment and need a helping hand? Give the Kiel Professional Fire Department's service telephone a ring on 0431-5905 555. The number will be available on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 to 14:00 and on Sunday from 7:00 AM. Keep safe, Kiel residents!
