The Sneaky Synopsis

"The Twits" follows the horrid Mr. and Mrs. Twit, two rotten nuts who revel in playing cruel tricks on one another and mistreating anything with a heartbeat. They also operate a dangerous, and certified silly, theme park known as Twitlandia. But they finally meet their match when two courageous orphans and a posse of magical critters team up to thwart them, using their nasty tricks against them!

The Voice Curtain Call

Margo Martindale lends her voice to the wretched Mrs. Twit, bringing her unique charm and Intelligence to the character. Her extensive resume includes roles in "Million Dollar Baby," "The Stairy," "Dexter," "The Millers," "The Good Wife," and "BoJack Horseman." Johnny Vegas, no stranger to unwelcome guests, provides the voice for the repulsive Mr. Twit.

The cast also features Natalie Portman as Mary Muggle-Wump and Emilia Clarke as Pippa.

Don't worry—we haven't forgotten about the rest of the voice stars keeping the code quiet for now, but rest assured, more details will surface once the cat is out of the bag!

The Making of Mischief

The Netflix production of "The Twits" is in the capable hands of Phil Johnston, director and writer of "Ralph Breaks the Internet." He's a self-professed sucker for despicable characters and admits he "doesn't want to delve too deep into why." In his own words, "I love The Twits and their vile tricks, their lack of awareness, personal hygiene, and humanity. And this movie is all about reminding us that we can't stand for odious dorks like The Twits to reign supreme in our world."
