Twitch Sensation Kai Cenat Hits 1M Subscribers, Plans School in Nigeria

Twitch sensation Kai Cenat has reached a monumental milestone, becoming the first user to surpass one million active subscribers on the platform. In celebration, he plans to use a portion of the proceeds from his recent Mafiathon 3 event to build a school in Nigeria. If his goal of one million subscribers holds, $750,000 will be allocated for the project.

Cenat's journey on Twitch has been meteoric. He previously held the record with 700,000 subscribers, which he achieved in December 2024. Now, he's not only broken his own record but also set a new benchmark for the platform.

During Mafiathon 3, Cenat unveiled a trailer for his upcoming horror-comedy film, 'Livestream From Hell'. The movie features Cenat himself, alongside comedy heavyweight Kevin Hart and fellow Twitch star Druski. The film will be directed by Chrissy Fiorilli-Ellington, known for her work on popular TV series like 'Law & Order: SVU' and 'Blue Bloods'. Hartbeat, Kevin Hart's production company, is set to produce the project.

With his subscriber milestone, Kai Cenat has shown his influence and generosity. The school building project in Nigeria is a testament to his commitment to giving back. Meanwhile, his foray into film with 'Livestream From Hell' promises an exciting collaboration between Twitch stars and Hollywood talent.
