Twitch Streamer Oğuzhan Dalgakiran Dies After Falling from Balcony
In a tragic turn of events, popular Twitch streamer Oğuzhan Dalgakiran, known by his online alias Jrokez, has passed away. The incident occurred on August 17, 2025, at his apartment in the Eryaman area of Ankara, Turkey.
The exact cause of Oğuzhan's fall from the 12th-floor balcony remains unclear, with speculation among the public ranging from an accident to other possible scenarios. One tribute speculated, "Could it be an accident that fell on the balcony? May God have mercy on him and give patience to his family."
On the day of his death, Oğuzhan had announced an unexpected break from streaming, causing concern among his over a million followers on social media. His Instagram story mentioned feeling exhausted and lacking energy.
Oğuzhan began his streaming career in 2017, sharing gaming and football content with his audience. His wife, Aleyna, occasionally appeared in his videos, and the couple had only been married for about a year, having tied the knot in the summer of 2024.
Upon the incident, witnesses immediately phoned emergency services, but Oğuzhan couldn't be saved. Oğuzhan tragically died from his severe injuries at the scene.
Since the news of his passing, Oğuzhan's social media accounts have been flooded with tributes from his fans. One tribute read, "May you rest in peace beautiful person. You don't see them but be happy wherever you go." Another tribute said, "Rest in peace my brother. Rest in peace."
The Turkish police have launched an investigation into Oğuzhan's death, according to Turkish newspaper Hurriyet. The investigation found that Oğuzhan fell from the balcony of his apartment and his body was sent for autopsy to the forensic institute.
