Twice's world tour continues with two members sidelined by injuries
Twice's ongoing world tour, This Is For, has faced setbacks as two members pause their activities due to injuries. Dahyun and Chaeyoung will both miss upcoming performances, leaving the group to continue without them. The tour, which began in July 2022, is set to conclude in June 2023 after 78 shows across 43 locations.
By the time the injuries occurred, Twice had already completed 52 of the scheduled performances.
Dahyun's ankle issue was first noticed in early February. Initially treated as a minor problem, it was later confirmed as a fracture. Due to the severity, she will sit out the remaining tour dates to focus on recovery. Her return will depend on when she regains full ability to perform choreography.
Chaeyoung's situation arose suddenly, forcing her to cancel her flight before a scheduled show. A back injury has kept her in Korea for treatment, with no confirmed return date. If she rejoins the tour, her movements may be restricted to avoid further strain. The group will resume performances without the two members, starting with the Orlando, Florida, show. Dahyun has been ruled out for the rest of the tour, while Chaeyoung's participation remains uncertain.
Twice's This Is For tour will proceed with seven members for the remaining 26 shows. Dahyun's absence is confirmed until the final date in June, while Chaeyoung's recovery timeline stays unclear. The group's management has not announced any further changes to the schedule.
