Kazakh Drone Racing Star Timofey Muravyov Prepares for Aspan Fest

Timofey Muravyov, a 12-year-old from Karagandy, is gearing up for Aspan Fest, Kazakhstan's largest drone racing tournament, scheduled for Oct. 11-12 in Astana. This news comes after Muravyov made history as the first Kazakh citizen to win a prize at the Drone Racing World Cup, held in Istanbul, Turkey.

At the World Cup, Muravyov competed in the junior category (under 18), facing off against reigning world and national champions from China, France, and Russia. Despite the tough competition, he managed to secure third place, an impressive achievement for a young drone racing enthusiast.

The Drone Racing World Cup is an international competition that brings together some of the world's strongest drone pilots. In Istanbul, more than 60 pilots from 11 countries participated, including China, France, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Following his success at the World Cup, Muravyov ranked third among juniors and in the overall top five. Now, he's looking forward to competing at Aspan Fest and potentially adding another victory to his growing list of achievements.

Before Aspan Fest, Muravyov will also be participating in an international event in Moscow later in the same month.
