The World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Canfranc, Spain, recently concluded with competitors tackling distances ranging from 6.4 to 81.2 kilometers, featuring elevation differences of up to 5413 meters. The event drew the best mountain runners from across the globe, including Madlen Kappeler and Marc Dürr from TV Hindelang, representing the Allgaeu region.

Kappeler and Dürr showcased their skills in the challenging terrain. Kappeler, who qualified for the championships with a strong second-place finish at the Naturns Skyrace, demonstrated her prowess in the demanding event.
