"Fernsehgarten" Shakeup: Joachim Llambi Stands in for "Kiwi" in Anniversary Show

Get ready for a change in the ZDF "Fernsehgarten" (TV Garden) lineup! The annual gardening extravaganza, which usually sees Andrea "Kiwi" Kiewel at the helm, will be temporarily helmed by Joachim Llambi and Lutz van der Horst on June 15, 2025. This special event marks Kiewel's 25th season on the show, a milestone that the host won't be present for due to geopolitical circumstances.

Usually scheduled to appear as guests, Llambi and van der Horst now take center stage on this exceptional occasion. Llambi, best known as a juror on the RTL hit "Let's Dance," will bring his flair and charisma to the moderation table alongside van der Horst.

The planned "Kiwi's 25th Anniversary" show promises an exciting lineup of stars, including Katja Ebstein, Marianne Rosenberg, Peter Schilling, Eko Fresh, Tom Gaebel, René Casselly, and Kathrin Menzinger, along with ESC legends Katja Ebstein, Guildo Horn, and Johnny Logan.

Kiewel, who often spends her "Fernsehgarten" season in Tel Aviv, is unable to attend due to ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The Israeli airspace is currently closed to civilian air traffic, making travel impossible for the host.

Despite the change in moderators for this special event, the show will go on, offering a mix of music performances, dance routines, and other program points to celebrate Kiewel's remarkable milestone. René Casselly and Kathrin Menzinger will perform a dance routine to mark the occasion.

Joachim Llambi, well-versed in his role as a juror on "Let's Dance," will leverage his expertise to ensure the show remains engaging for viewers. In addition to moderating the "Fernsehgarten," Llambi is also set to host the "Face of Europe" finale later in the year.

I'm not going to be able to do this as I usually spend my "Fernsehgarden" season in Tel Aviv, but due to ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the Israeli airspace is currently closed to civilian air traffic, making travel impossible for me.
