TV Deutsche Eiche Bottrop Promoted to Verbandsliga: Gymnasts Shine in Historic Win

TV Deutsche Eiche Bottrop (TVDE) has secured a historic promotion to the Verbandsliga for the 2026 season. The team, led by coach Jörg Meier, won the Landesliga 1 final on September 27th, 2026. Sponsors can reach out via the team's website or at [email protected].

The team's success was marked by exceptional performances from its gymnasts. Svenja Rosenkranz dominated the all-around championship, winning first place on vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor. Jule Schickedanz also shone, placing second on vault and third on floor. However, the team will face tougher challenges in the Verbandsliga next season.

TVDE is now seeking support for new equipment, training and competition clothing, and rental costs for a professional training hall. Fundraising is currently underway. Meanwhile, Laura Król, due to injuries, has stepped down from the team but will continue as a coach.
