Turkey Falls Short in EuroBasket Final, Germany Takes the Title
In a thrilling EuroBasket final on September 14, Turkey put up a valiant effort but ultimately came up short against Germany. The Turkish team, led by Ergin Ataman, had been unbeaten throughout the tournament, but their impressive run ended in Riga, with Germany securing a hard-fought victory by a score of 88-83.
Ergin Ataman, considered one of the most successful coaches in Turkish and European basketball history, was visibly disappointed after the game.
