Tulsa King granted a fourth season renewal, with Terence Winter reprising his role as the show's head writer and executive producer. Dave Erickson, on the other hand, will no longer be a part of the project.
In a significant move for the streaming platform, Paramount has officially renewed the crime drama series "Tulsa King" for a fourth season. The announcement was made on the night of the Season 3 red carpet event in New York.
Terence Winter, known for his work on shows like "Boardwalk Empire" and "Vinyl," is returning to "Tulsa King" as a full-time executive producer for Season 4. He will also take over the role of showrunner, with Dave Erickson exiting for the upcoming season.
Season 3, which saw Dwight (played by Sylvester Stallone) facing his most dangerous adversaries yet: the Dunmires, was the #1 global Paramount+ original series in 2024. The second season delivered Paramount+'s most watched global premiere with 21.1 million viewers, solidifying the series' popularity.
The fourth season of "Tulsa King" will debut on Sunday, Sept. 21 on Paramount+. The series stars a diverse cast including Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike "Cash Flo" Walden, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, James Russo, with Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany.
In addition to the main series, a spinoff titled "NOLA King" is in the works. Samuel L. Jackson will guest star in Season 3 as Russell Lee Washington Jr. before headlining "NOLA King." Talks are underway with Sylvester Stallone for a new two-year deal for future seasons.
If the series' ratings continue to be strong, it could go to six seasons, providing fans with even more of the gripping storyline and compelling characters that have made "Tulsa King" a standout on Paramount+. In Season 3, Terence Winter served as a consultant for "Tulsa King."
The executive producers for Season 3 include Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, Dave Erickson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich, Keith Cox, and Terence Winter.
Stay tuned for more updates on "Tulsa King" and its upcoming spinoff, "NOLA King."
