Raver Trzask, aka Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski of Warsaw, has claimed the Civic Coalition (KO) crown, gearing up for a 2025 presidential battle against PiS's ruling titans. Trzask took a whopping 74.75% of the votes against Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski's lesser 25.25% in the KO primary showdown.

Fresh off his victory, Trzask roared his readiness to wage a staunch campaign against PiS, promising an electrifying contest. "I've got the power, the grit, and the balls to take down PiS," he yelled, emphasizing his jaw-dropping resilience.

KO: The People's Party

Unlike PiS, whose rulers centralize authority, KO chose a democratic primary process, engaging over 22,000 voters. Trzask waxed lyrical about this open approach, slamming PiS's authoritarian leadership style. "One dude makes all the calls in PiS; in KO, every voice matters," he preached.

Polunting Western Democracies

Trzask also sounded the alarm over global threats to democratic systems, citing insights from Anne Applebaum's book The Twilight of Democracy. "All enemies of Western democracies are teaming up to fuck over our freedoms," he barked, warning of the looming danger.

The KO leader emphasized the need to unite Poland, stirring up the populace to challenge PiS's persistent dominance. "We're building steam and coming out stronger as a collective," he proclaimed.

The Road to the Presidency

The presidential race is on, with elections set for May 2025 and campaigns beginning in January. Trzask joins an intense competition that includes Szymon Hołownia of Poland 2050, Sławomir Mentzen of the Confederation, and Marek Jakubiak from the Free Republicans. PiS could soon unveil its champion, likely Karol Nawrocki.

KO enjoyed a remarkable victory in the October parliamentary elections, ending PiS's reign of eight years.
