Try Out welcomes Pascal Aquin's visit to Regensburg.

Pascal Aquin, a 24-year-old Canadian forward, is set to join the Regensburg Ice Bears for the preseason, following a successful stint with the Hannover Scorpions in Germany.

Born on July 3, 1997, in Le Gardeur, Quebec, Aquin has made a name for himself in the German league with his aggressive offensive play, work in the corners, and his willingness to go where it hurts.

Over the past three years, Aquin has played for the Hannover Scorpions in the Oberliga Nord. In this period, he has scored an impressive 315 points in 249 regular-season games, and an additional 25 points in 20 playoff games. This includes 78 points in 48 playoff games over the last three years.

During the playoffs in the previous two years, Aquin was a key performer. In the 2023-24 season, he scored 12 goals and had 18 assists in 18 playoff games, and in the 2022-23 season, he contributed 4 goals and 16 assists in 10 playoff games.

Head coach Peter Flache is excited about Aquin's signing, commenting on his physical presence, passion, and team-oriented play. The sports management views Aquin as an exciting player type who can bring new dynamics to the team on and off the ice.

Standing at 188 cm and weighing 91 kg, Aquin brings a powerful presence to the ice. His total career statistics, including goals, assists, and points across different seasons and leagues, are not widely documented in major public sports databases, suggesting his detailed career statistics may pertain to less prominent leagues or amateur levels.

As Aquin prepares to join the Regensburg Ice Bears, fans and teammates alike are eager to see what he can bring to the team during the preseason and beyond. With his impressive track record in Germany, Aquin will have the opportunity to prove himself and contribute to the success of the Regensburg Ice Bears.

Aquin's impressive track record in Germany, particularly in the Oberliga Nord, extends not just to ice hockey but also to other sports, as he has scored an impressive 315 points in 249 regular-season games and an additional 25 points in 20 playoff games beyond those for hockey. Despite his success, there seems to be a lack of extensive documentation of his total career statistics in major public sports databases, which suggests his contribution might not be limited to ice hockey.
