Trump's supposed 'Jimmy Kimmel' guest, Wanda Sykes, delivers a blunt assessment following the show's cancellation, criticizing the former president.

In a surprising turn of events, ABC announced the indefinite suspension of the Jimmy Kimmel late night show on Wednesday. The decision came after government complaints about a recent Kimmel monologue, which addressed the tragic murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

The suspension was reportedly due to comments made by Jimmy Kimmel about Federal Communications Commission chair Brendan Carr and Charlie Kirk. Kimmel, in his monologue, had criticised the MAGA gang for attempting to characterise the murderer as anything other than a follower of their ideology, and for trying to score political points from the unfortunate incident.

The audience member who was waiting to attend the show learned about the indefinite cancellation online. Another audience member, who was about to walk into the studio, found out the show was cancelled right at the doorstep. Both were understandably concerned about the safety of everyone involved.

Wanda Sykes, who was supposed to be the main guest on the Jimmy Kimmel show on Wednesday, issued a video message via Instagram after her appearance was pulled at the last minute. In the video, Sykes directly called out President Donald Trump, accusing his administration of cracking down on free speech and targeting the media.

Trump, on his Truth Social platform, celebrated the suspension of the Jimmy Kimmel show. It is worth noting that Trump has previously demanded that Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers should also be pushed out of NBC for their critical remarks towards him.
