Trump's Nominee for D.C.'s Lead Prosecutor Neglected Reporting Approximately 200 Appearances on Extreme Right-Wing Media Platforms to the Senate
Spicy Scoop:
Ed Martin, Donald Trump's pick for the U.S. Attorney position in Washington D.C., is sizzling with controversy! You won't believe what CNN discovered about Martin's hidden media appearances.
It seems the conservative activist and former Missouri Republican Party chair has been playshit, leaving out more than 240 podcast, radio, and TV interviews from his initial disclosure forms to Congress, including discussions on far-right outlets and Russian-state media.
Martin, who's been Twitter fingers deep in controversial moves since taking on the role in January, even referred to the office of federal prosecutors as "President Trumps' lawyers." He's also been accused of demoting senior attorneys working on January 6, 2021, Capitol riot cases.
But despite Trump's formal nomination of Martin in March, he failed to disclose the vast majority of his media appearances. After the heat started brewing, Martin submitted updates to his disclosures, but even those were less than forthcoming. Many links didn't work, and he missed documenting multiple appearances on a given day. What a monster-in-the-making!
And here's the bombshell: CNN's count shows Martin failed to disclose at least 198 appearances between 2023 and 2024, during which he suggested he'd prosecute the Biden family and charge people involved in federal investigations into Trump.
Martin's sheepish apologies don't seem to be flying with the people. This kind of dog-ate-my-homework actua-lie isn't cool in any political environment. If he were a nominee from another party, he'd be under heavy fire for concealing such relevant information like a double-agent-wannabe.
Unfortunately for us, the Senate is already running a tight schedule, with Martin's status as acting US attorney set to expire on May 20. Democrats are demanding probes into Martin's questionable conduct, but with the Senate on vacation for the next two weeks, the clock's ticking like a time bomb.

Behind the Scenes:
Ed Martin's podcast, "The Pro America Report with Ed Martin," has suddenly become as accessible as a UFO sighting. It seems all episodes disappeared from Apple Podcasts and Spotify within a few days before Martin submitted his paperwork to the Senate Judiciary Committee in late March. But, hey, Martin claims it's just a tech glitch and he didn't delete anything. Right, mate?
In response to accusations of removing nearly 1,000 hours of podcasts, Martin penned a letter to the panel and claimed online platforms were rearranging his podcast titles and segments without his knowledge. Sounds like someone's got some explaining to do!
If only all our problems could be solved with a wave of the wand… or a grand excuse!
- Ed Martin, despite being accused of concealing relevant information, has yet to fully address the issue of his failed disclosures, which consisted of over 240 podcast, radio, and TV interviews on far-right outlets and Russian-state media, among other general-news and crime-and-justice topics.
- The Senate's schedule is running tight, with Martin's status as acting US Attorney set to expire on May 20, raising concerns about probes into his questionable conduct, including his controversial comments about prosecuting the Biden family and charging individuals involved in federal investigations into Trump.
- Prior to submitting his paperwork to the Senate Judiciary Committee in late March, all episodes of Martin's podcast, "The Pro America Report with Ed Martin," mysteriously disappeared from platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify, leading to speculation about the circumstances behind their removal.
- Martin's explanation for the podcast disappearance, citing tech glitches and unauthorized reconfigurations of his podcast titles and segments by online platforms, has failed to convince many, fueling suspicions of dishonest actions.
