Trump's Intimate Advisor Issues Alarming Remarks to President Regarding 'Neocons'

In a candid interview with the Daily Mail, Marjorie Taylor Greene lays bare the fissure she sees within the Republican party. It's not the age-old debate between her and President Donald Trump, but rather a rift between 'conservatives' and 'neocons'.

The firebrand congresswoman, known for her forthrightness, trod on the nerves of Capitol Hill last week when she expressed her frustration in a bold post, emphasizing that the base isn't pleased with the political direction. Surprisingly, her words weren't aimed at the President but at typical congressional leadership and 'classic neocons'.

Neocons, traditionally Republican advocates for U.S intervention in global affairs, have been at the forefront of controversies in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Iraq, among others. According to Greene, these forces have infiltrated the GOP, co-opting the MAGA movement and leading the party astray from Trump's mandate.

Speaking about the 'neocon' establishment, Greene stated, 'It's just an existence. It's a conglomerate.' One telling example, she argued, is the Senate's displeasure with Ed Martin, Trump's nominee for U.S attorney for the District of Columbia, whose bid may not pass due to opposition from Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., among others. Greene perceives this as an obstruction of Trump's agenda.

'We have problems in Congress,' Greene told the Daily Mail. 'Trump's agenda is not being passed in Congress.'

On the domestic front, Greene took her colleagues to task over their opposition to the reforms proposed by Elon Musk's group focusing on waste, fraud, and abuse. Skepticism remains within the ranks, with many Republicans doubtful about their stomach for cutting the unnecessary.

Greene has been vocal about her opposition to foreign wars, a concern shared by the base, she says. In her view, Washington remains addicted to foreign conflicts, while the President champions peace. Unfortunately, Greene pointed out, some ambiguous forces within the party have been pushing for a conflict with Iran, at odds with the America's interest in avoiding such a scenario.

When questioned about her concerns, Greene bluntly stated, 'Washington, DC, has an addiction to foreign wars.' She maintains her viewpoint is supported by the comments from the base.

From a MAGA ally for a decade to a forceful member of Congress, Greene continues to voice her discontent with her own party. With a combined 6.3 million followers across various social media platforms, her message resonates with the base, urging dogged determination to stay the course and push the party back onto Trump's agenda.
