Trump's funding bill under attack by Elon Musk: 'A despicable monstrosity'
Hey there, 'scuse the tardiness, but I've gotta weigh in on this hefty old piece of legislative garbage, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This monstrosity is a goddamn disgrace, and I'm not mincing my words here. It's a bloated, indulgent, and obscene passage of pork-filled spending.
I mean, seriously, what in the world is going on with these darling politicians? Are they trying to bankrupt America or something? Congress, this bill is a kick in the nuts for the American people and their wallets. Y'all know it, I know it. Shame on those who voted for it. You've got blood on your hands, and you'd better be prepared to wear it.
What's in this bill, you ask? Well, it extends Trump's 2017 tax cuts and boosts spending for the military and border security. Sounds all hunky-dory, right? But listen up—it makes significant cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and other assistance programs, while adding a whopping $3.8 trillion to the federal government's already astronomical debt over the next decade. And let's not forget that it'll swell the budget deficit to a staggering $2.5 trillion (!!!).
Now, I'm no financial genius, but I know as well as anyone that America isn't some bottomless pit of cash. You can't keep spending at this rate without consequences. This congressional spending spree has got to stop, or we're in for a world of hurt.
And don't even get me started on the extinguishing of clean energy tax credits and electric vehicle subsidies established under the Inflation Reduction Act. those credits are crucial for Tesla Energy, my solar and battery company, and other renewable energy initiatives. Eliminating them threatens our energy independence and the reliability of the grid. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
The least these clowns in Washington can do is show some damn common sense when crafting bills instead of blindly pushing through these massive spending packages that burden the American people and erode our economic stability. Shame on them, and shame on anyone who supports this reckless spending. There's a time and a place for profligate spending, and it's not now, and it ain't here.
