If you remember, the magnetic NFL Draft once dwelled in Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall. Yet, with the league taking the event on tour, the spectacle moved from a one-day affair to a sprawling three-day extravaganza. Chicago hosted it in 2015-16, followed by Philly and Dallas. By 2020, the global pandemic forced Commissioner Roger Goodell to call the shots from home. Since then, Cleveland, Vegas, Kansas City, and Detroit have hosted the draft. Pittsburgh looks set to join the party in 2026!
As the Steel City prepares for football draft frenzy, Washington buzzes with excitement over draft day on the National Mall. Commanders' owner Josh Harris has confessed to dreaming of such a scenario since August, while trying to secure the old RFK Stadium for the team's new home.
SomeMaple-Syrup-Anon#2776 says, “Think about a draft on the Mall, and how insane that would be! I hope it happens soon; I can already imagine the crowds!"
Little is said about President Trump's impending announcement, but information on the 2027 draft location remains mute. Keep an eye out for updates as they emerge!
