Trump offers suggestions to Zelenskyy following encounter with Putin

Trump had hoped to initiate a ceasefire or peace process, but the discussions concluded with no firm commitments, and both leaders only mentioned the possibility of future talks, possibly in Moscow [3]. The potential agreement between Russia and Ukraine, according to Trump, depends on the agreement of President Zelensky [2].
During the meeting, Trump emphasized that it's up to Zelensky to finalize any potential deal with Russia [5]. He also stated that the US and Russia had agreed on "many points," but a deal had not yet been reached [6]. Trump advised Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to strike a deal with Moscow to resolve the conflict [7].
Trump noted that the possibility of reaching a settlement in Ukraine now depends on Zelensky and European countries [8]. He also stated that Russia is a very big country compared to Ukraine [9]. The leaders' talks were in a "three on three" format and lasted two hours and 45 minutes [10].
Following the meeting, both sides addressed the press. Trump announced that he will be attending a future meeting involving Trump, Putin, and Zelensky [11]. Both Zelensky and Putin expressed their desire for Trump to be present at the meeting [12].
