Trump Launches Assault on Iran
Title: Fire and Fury Raises Heads: An Informal Review

When war breaks loose, it unleashes a whirlwind of evils that once released foreign powers struggle to control. The warmongers who called for U.S. airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities were ill-prepared for the ensuing chaos. Friendly relations with European allies are now at an all-time low, leaving no room for cooperation with Washington.
The Pentagon doesn't have the manpower to invade Iran militarily, making occupation a distant dream. To believe that the marginal MEK could stand its ground against the Iranian government is simply laughable. The people of Iran, much like in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria before them, are largely ignored.
Wanna know what they think? They don't want us or Israel. They crave freedom, not foreign domination. War with Iran would be interpreted as a war against Shiism throughout the region.
Iran will certainly strike back, even if at first with just missiles and stealthy attacks on bases and vessels. Casualties, including American soldiers, will mount steadily. Spain will suffer reprisals too, as Iran may focus on ships and installations.
As in Iraq and Afghanistan, we may respond with a blind rage, aggravating the flame we lit in the first place. The warmongers clueless of the realities of war and how it shapes the societies they aim to control, ignore the lessons of the past decades.
Unleashing another quagmire, we risk another nail in the coffin of the empire. This war will bring more pain and despair, fueling up resentment and hatred towards American forces.
Every invader gets his due
It's not a pretty picture, but it pays to remember history. Iran isn't the only sect under the sun. The sooner Washington understands this, the better.

- Iranian Nuclear Program: Iran's nuclear program has been a contentious issue for years, with Western nations expressing concern about its potential military applications and Iran asserting its right to nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
- MEK: The Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK) is a group that has a controversial history in Iran, having fought against the government during the 1980s. The MEK found support in Iraq during Saddam Hussein's regime, forming a military base in Iraqi Kurdistan. In the past, the MEK has sought to overthrow the Iranian government by force.
- U.S.-Iran Relations: Relations between the United States and Iran have been strained since their support for opposing sides during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s. Tensions escalated further with Iran's nuclear ambitions and accusations of Iranian involvement in acts of terrorism. The assassination of General Qassem Soleimani by a U.S. drone strike in early 2020 brought the two nations even closer to the brink of war.
