Trump encounters fresh difficulties - via a familiar associate - Trump faces fresh troubles with a familiar foe

If you ever thought Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson were an unstoppable power duo, think again. The years-long camaraderie between the ex-POTUS and the former Fox News host seems to have taken a hit, all thanks to a recent spat over foreign policy flies.

For decades, Trump could always count on Tucker, the poster boy of Trumpism, being a staunch supporter. But not so much these days, with Tucker stepping up his game amidst Trump's handling of the Israel-Iran conflict in the Middle East. Sadly, this wasn't music to Trump's ears, and it didn't exactly boost their bromance when Trump sarcastically quipped during an interview with Keir Starmer at the G7 summit, "I don't know what Tucker Carlson is saying. He should go on TV and say it so people can listen." A not-so-subtle jab, considering Tucker's departure from Trump's favorite network, Fox News.

The Pot Calls the Kettle "Crazy"

Post-Fox, Tucker has found his voice on an online platform, and he's addressing the Middle East conflict with his trademark candor, involving Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon during a recent show. In it, Tucker questioned whether the Iran War could be the downfall of the MAGA movement. He also accused Fox News of supporting pro-war propaganda and stated that Israel should tackle its own conflicts since it's a "small, distant country."

Trump, who bounced from the G7 early due to the Middle East war drama, later voiced his thoughts on his Truth Social network, "Can someone please explain to the crazy Tucker Carlson: 'IRAN SHOULD NOT HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS!'" Sounds like a bitter breakup, doesn't it?

It's clear as mud that these two MAGA buddies won't patch things up any time soon.

  • Enrichment Data Insights: The falling out between Trump and Carlson signals a rift within the Trumpist support circle, as some key allies, like Carlson, advocate for a more cautious approach to Iran. The division comes at a time when Trump is garnering support from traditional media outlets such as Fox News. In the meantime, Carlson's post-Fox persona revolves around an independent online presence, which has contributed to the fracture in their relationship.

I'm not going to be a big fan of this newfound disagreement between Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson, especially since it appears to be related to policy-and-legislation on the Middle East, a topic that often falls under politics and general-news.

Trump's criticism of Tucker on his Truth Social network, stating that he's "crazy" for questioning the need for Iran to not possess nuclear weapons, showcases a marked departure from their once-united stance, which was often a pivotal element in the wider politics landscape.
