In a series of recent statements, former U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his views on the ongoing Russia Ukraine conflict.

On September 2, Trump voiced his disappointment with Russian President Vladimir Putin's handling of the conflict, emphasising the humanitarian aspect of the situation. He stated that thousands of people are dying in the war and expressed a desire to help bring an end to it. Trump also noted that the Russia Ukraine conflict should have been resolved between Russia and Ukraine.

However, on a different occasion during a press conference with Boris Johnson on September 18, Trump expressed his frustration with Putin's intransigence on the issue. During this meeting, Trump and Johnson reportedly discussed options to increase support for Ukraine.

Trump's relationship with Putin has been a topic of interest, with Trump himself stating that he ended seven wars and considering the Russia Ukraine conflict the easiest to resolve due to his relationship with Putin. Yet, Trump has also expressed disappointment with Putin's actions in Ukraine on previous occasions.

In response to Trump's "disappointment", Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov attributed it to Trump's preference for quick solutions. Lavrov has spoken to Trump a few times and has formed some impression of him.

It's important to note that during the time period in question, Trump was the U.S. president involved in the Russia Ukraine conflict situation, with no other U.S. president identified as having "put" him into the conflict.

Despite no new information about efforts to increase support for Ukraine or the relationship between Trump, Putin, and Johnson regarding the conflict, the ongoing Russia Ukraine war has resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, mostly soldiers.

The conflict, which has been ongoing, has yet to see a peaceful resolution, with Trump stating that Putin did not help in achieving one. Trump also expressed that Putin let him down regarding the conflict.

As the situation continues to unfold, the international community remains hopeful for a peaceful resolution to the Russia Ukraine conflict.
